Last Friday morning, the 7th of July, saw the Notre Dame de Jamhour (NDJ) u18 7's team host the Broumana High school (BHS) rugby team for a couple of games of Rugby sevens. On a very hot day the two teams contested two entertaining but tight games with BHS prevailing in the first one before the Jamhour came back to tie the second one and end the rugby day on a tied score. Both games were refereed by former Senegal international fly half Amady. The tournament show cased brilliant attack schemes that reigned supreme over any defensive measures by either teams. The temperature and humidity might have affected both of the teams defensive strategies with both teams struggling to move up on the line. The day was a good preparation for the end of the year school tournaments.
